The Lymow One Plus is a wire-free robotic lawn mower that runs on rubber tracks, carries a 16-inch rotary cutting deck and is rated for slopes up to 45°. What makes the Lymow One Plus different?

Three design choices define it.

• Tracks for traction. A track spreads the mower's weight over a long contact patch, so it keeps grip on wet grass, loose soil and steep ground. This is the feature that makes the 45° slope rating possible.
• A rotary cutting deck. Dual rotary mulching blades sit on a floating deck with a 16-inch cutting width and a 1.2 to 4 inch height range. Cyclone airflow lifts grass into the cutting path, and the blades mulch clippings and fallen leaves back into the lawn.
• Wire-free navigation. RTK satellite positioning combined with VSLAM camera navigation lets you draw boundaries, zones and no-go areas in the app with no buried perimeter wire. AI vision and ultrasonic sensors assist with obstacle detection.

How steep can the Lymow One Plus actually mow?

Lymow rates the One Plus for slopes up to 45°, which is the same as a 100% grade: one foot of rise for every foot of run. That is steep. Most residential lawns top out well below it.

If you measure your own slope, check the units. Phone apps and levels often report percent grade, while the One Plus rating is published in degrees. A 45° slope is 100%, a 30° slope is about 58% and a 20° slope is about 36%.

A slope rating describes the steepest face the mower can hold under good conditions. It is not a promise about every part of your yard. Sharp transitions at the top or bottom of a bank, loose or saturated soil, and drop-offs at the edge of a slope all matter as much as the angle. Should you buy the 5A or the 10A?

Both configurations are the same mower with the same deck, tracks and navigation. The difference is the charging system, and it changes how much lawn the mower can cover in a day.

The mower spends much of its day on the charger, so faster charging means more time cutting. That is why the 10A is rated for roughly 57% more daily coverage for only a small step up in price.

Our view: if your mowing area is anywhere near an acre, or you want spare capacity for rain delays and busy spring growth, choose the 10A. The 5A makes sense for lawns comfortably under an acre where the lower price matters more than speed.

Specifications and ratings are as published by Lymow. Coverage and slope figures are maximum ratings; grass type, terrain, weather and signal conditions all affect real-world results. IPX6 does not mean the mower can be submerged.

How do you set up the Lymow One Plus?

The box includes the mower, a charging station with adapter and cables, and an RTK reference station with its antenna, mounting poles and hardware. Setup follows five steps.

1. Measure the grass you maintain. Exclude the house, driveway and beds. Our lawn area calculator is a good starting point, and the number tells you whether 5A or 10A suits you.
2. Walk the terrain. Note steep sections, narrow passages, separate lawn areas and drop-offs.
3. Place the stations. The RTK reference station needs a clear view of open sky, and the charging station needs power and clearance. Good placement is most of what makes wire-free mowing reliable.
4. Map and test. Drive the boundary in the app, add no-go zones, then watch the first few runs and refine the map.
5. Set the routine. Adjust schedule and cutting height to your grass and how you use the yard.

Budget an afternoon for the first install. Once the map is right, the mower runs on its schedule.

What does it cost to own?

Beyond electricity, ownership costs come down to wear parts and the occasional replacement. These are the Lymow parts we stock for the One Plus.

What should you know before you buy?

• It is heavy. At about 78.5 lb, it is not something you will want to carry between lawns. Plan your zones so it can drive between them.
• You will hear it. Full rotary blades make more noise than you might expect from a robot mower. An independent hands-on review at Techaeris described it as noticeably louder, though still quieter than a gas mower.
• Setup rewards patience. Station placement and the first mapping run take care. Rush them and you will be adjusting boundaries for weeks.
• Tracks and blades wear. Plan for replacements as part of normal ownership.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Lymow One Plus worth it?

It is worth it if slopes, rough ground or thick grass are what make your lawn hard to maintain. If your lawn is small, flat and easy to mow, the One Plus is more capability than you need. Tell us about your yard and we will give you a straight answer.

What warranty does the Lymow One Plus have?

Lymow's published warranty policy lists three years for the One Plus, with tracks and blades excluded as wear parts. Ask us to confirm how coverage applies to your order before you buy.

Does it need a perimeter wire?

No. Boundaries, mowing zones and no-go areas are drawn in the app using RTK and VSLAM navigation. You do need to install the RTK reference station somewhere with a clear view of the sky.

Can it mow in the rain?

It carries an IPX6 rating, which covers strong water jets such as heavy rain. It is not submersible, and mowing very wet grass is harder on any lawn, so many owners schedule around downpours.

How long does it take to charge?

About 90 minutes from 10 to 90% on the 10A configuration and about 150 minutes on the 5A, according to Lymow.

Can I store it in the garage over winter?

Yes. Clean the deck and tracks, then store it somewhere dry and protected from freezing. Follow Lymow's manual for battery charge level and storage temperature during the off-season.
