AI Tennis Robots and Tennis Ball Machines
A traditional tennis ball machine feeds balls from one fixed spot. An AI tennis robot goes further: it moves around the court, tracks where you are with cameras and can return your shots, so a solo session feels closer to a real rally.

How to Choose a Tennis Robot or Ball Machine
- Decide between rallies and feeding. If you mainly want repetitive feeds for one stroke, a ball machine mode is enough. If you want to practice footwork and live rallies alone, choose a robot that moves and returns shots.
- Match top speed to your level. AceiiLab lists shots up to 80 mph for the A1. Acemate lists up to 60 mph for the S10 and up to 75 mph for the S10 Pro.
- Check runtime and batteries. Both brands list about 2 hours of rally play for their core models, with removable batteries so a spare can extend a session.
