Lymow Robotic Lawn Mowers

Lymow builds tracked robotic lawn mowers for lawns that give lighter wheeled machines trouble. Instead of wheels, the Lymow One Plus runs on rubber tracks, which spread its weight and hold traction on slopes, soft ground and uneven turf where a smaller robot mower tends to slip or leave ruts.

Navigation is wire-free. The One Plus combines RTK satellite positioning with VSLAM camera vision, and the boundary is drawn in an app rather than buried around the garden. If you have been looking for a robot lawn mower with no perimeter wire, that is the difference worth understanding before you compare models.

Lymow rates the One Plus for slopes up to 45 degrees (100 percent) with a 16 inch cutting width, and publishes a maximum daily coverage of roughly 1.73 acres for the faster-charging configuration. Work out your own number with our free lawn area calculator, then see how it sits against the rest of the range in Robotic Lawn Mowers.

Choosing Between the 10A and 5A Lymow One Plus

Both are the same mower and cut identically. The only difference is charging speed, which decides how much ground the machine gets through before the day runs out.

  • 10A. Lymow lists roughly 90 minutes to charge from 10 to 90 percent, and a maximum daily coverage of about 1.73 acres.
  • 5A. Lymow lists roughly 150 minutes for the same charge, and a maximum daily coverage of about 1.1 acres.

Those are manufacturer figures recorded in ideal conditions. Grass height, slope, obstacles and the number of separate lawn sections all pull real coverage down, so treat them as a ceiling rather than a promise. The full specification table is on the Lymow One Plus page.

What to Check Before You Choose a Lymow Mower

  • Measure the grass, not the plot. Coverage ratings describe actual lawn area. Beds, paths, patio and driveway do not count, so lot size will overestimate what you need.
  • Find your steepest bank, not your average slope. Lymow rates the One Plus to 45 degrees (100 percent). The steepest section is where any mower fails, so buy against that.
  • Tracks change what the mower can stand on. A tracked robot lawn mower puts its weight across a longer contact patch than wheels, which helps on damp ground and grades. It is also heavier, so think about where it crosses soft turf repeatedly.
  • RTK needs a view of the sky. Satellite positioning is what makes large multi-zone lawns practical, but dense tree cover and tall buildings interfere with it. The VSLAM camera system is there to help where signal is imperfect.
  • Two boxes need a home, not one. Plan placement for both the charging station and the separate RTK reference station before ordering, including power access.
  • Check the cutting height range against your grass. Lymow publishes 1.2 to 4 inches for the One Plus, which covers most cool and warm season lawns across the year.
  • Count your separate lawn sections. A front lawn, a back lawn and a side strip behave very differently from one open acre of the same total size.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can a Lymow mower handle 1 acre or 2 acres?

Lymow publishes a maximum daily coverage of about 1.73 acres for the 10A One Plus and about 1.1 acres for the 5A. Those are ceilings in ideal conditions. A complex 1 acre lawn split into several zones with slopes and obstacles will take longer than a single open acre, so measure your grass area first and leave headroom.

Does the Lymow One Plus need a perimeter wire?

No. The One Plus is wire-free. It maps the lawn using RTK satellite positioning and VSLAM vision, and you set virtual boundaries in the app. There is no cable to bury at install and no trench to reopen when you want to change a zone.

How steep a slope can a Lymow One Plus mow?

Lymow rates the track-drive system for slopes up to 45 degrees, which is a 100 percent grade. Check that against the steepest part of your lawn rather than its general character, and note that wet grass reduces grip on any mower regardless of its rating.

Can a Lymow mower cut wet grass or work in the rain?

The One Plus carries an IPX6 protection rating, which describes resistance to water jets. That is a durability rating and not the same thing as a recommendation to mow soaked grass, which cuts poorly and clumps on any machine. Follow Lymow's own operating guidance on weather.

What is the difference between the Lymow One and the Lymow One Plus?

We list the One Plus, and every specification published on this page refers to that model. If you are cross-shopping the earlier Lymow One, check Lymow's own documentation for its figures rather than assuming they carry over, because coverage and charging differ between them.

Is the Lymow One Plus suitable for commercial mowing?

It is sold as a residential and prosumer machine rated by daily coverage rather than continuous duty. Grounds work that runs all day, or acreage well beyond the published daily figures, usually calls for more than one machine or a larger platform. Tell us the site and we will say honestly whether it fits.

Where can I see current Lymow One Plus pricing and options?

Current pricing, the 10A and 5A configurations and the delivery estimate are all shown on the Lymow One Plus product page, which is the only place we keep them up to date.
