Unitree builds quadruped robots, four-legged machines that walk, climb stairs and cross uneven ground that wheels cannot handle. The Go2 Pro is the model we carry, fitted with 4D LiDAR L2 for spatial awareness.
This is a different category to everything else on the site. A Go2 is not a household appliance that does a chore; it is a development and demonstration platform used for robotics research, education, inspection work and content production.
Buy it because you want to build on it or show it, not because you expect it to clean, mow or carry things for you.
It walks, runs, climbs stairs and navigates uneven terrain while sensing its surroundings. What it does beyond that depends on how you program or operate it. It is a robotics platform rather than a task appliance.
It builds a spatial picture of the environment so the robot can detect and navigate around obstacles and judge terrain. It is the core sensing capability on the Pro model.
Not for basic operation with the controller. To use it for research, custom behaviour or integration, yes, you will be working with the developer tooling.
Operating time per charge is listed on the product page. As with any legged robot, it is the main limit on how long a single session runs.
Legged locomotion is designed for uneven ground, which is where a quadruped has the advantage. Check the product page for environmental and weather ratings before planning outdoor work.
