Sunseeker makes wire-free robotic lawn mowers for lawns from 0.3 acre up to 3 acres. There is no boundary wire to bury. Each mower maps your lawn in the Sunseeker app, mows on the schedule you set, and returns to its charging station on its own when the battery runs low.
The range splits by how the mower finds its way. The X4 uses 360° 3D LiDAR with Vision AI, so there is no RTK base station or antenna to install. The Gen 2 models (X5 Gen 2, X7 Gen 2 and X7 Plus Gen 2) pair network RTK (nRTK) with VSLAM 2.0 camera navigation and have a 4G module built in. The X3 Plus, X5, X7, X7 Plus and X7 Pro combine RTK with VSLAM and come with an RTK base station.
Not sure what size you need? Our free lawn area calculator works out your grass area in square feet and acres, which is the figure every Sunseeker model is rated against.
No. Every Sunseeker mower here is wire-free. You map the lawn in the Sunseeker app and set zones, no-go areas and schedules there instead of burying a perimeter cable.
The X3 Plus, X5, X7, X7 Plus and X7 Pro include an RTK base station that you set up in the yard. The X4 uses LiDAR and needs no base station or antenna. The Gen 2 models use network RTK (nRTK).
The X4, X5 and X7 models have a rain sensor and head back to the charging station when they detect rain. The X5 and X7 models are rated IPX5 for water resistance, and the X4 is rated IPX6.
No. A robotic mower cuts often and takes a little off each time, so the fine clippings fall back into the lawn as mulch.
