Description
The CHASING M2 PRO Professional Underwater ROV is a modular industrial underwater drone for hull inspection, infrastructure surveys, aquaculture, public-safety support, marine research, and offshore work. Its eight-thruster layout provides omnidirectional movement, while the integrated 4K camera, 12 MP still photography, and 4,000-lumen lighting system help teams document underwater conditions down to a rated 150 m (492 ft).
M2 PRO is designed as an expandable work platform. Compatible CHASING tools can support grabbing, sonar, positioning, measurement, sampling, and additional lighting when the mission requires more than visual inspection.

What’s Included
Every package includes the CHASING M2 PRO vehicle, controller, the selected 200-meter tether configuration, charging and connection equipment, and the standard items specified for that package. Advanced and Professional packages add equipment beyond the Standard Set; the packing list supplied with the selected configuration is controlling.
Grabbers, sonar, positioning systems, measurement tools, sampling tools, additional lights, and specialty power equipment are separate unless explicitly listed with the selected package.

Compatibility & Add-ons
M2 PRO supports a professional CHASING accessory ecosystem, but compatibility depends on the mounting point, electrical interface, communications interface, firmware, and selected surface-power setup. Do not assume M2 S or M2 PRO MAX accessories are interchangeable. Contact The Robot Direct before ordering a mission-critical accessory if the exact combination is not listed.
Setup & Use
- Inspect the vehicle, seals, tether, connectors, controller, battery, and selected tools.
- Plan the route, current, depth, visibility, recovery path, and battery reserve.
- Connect and surface-test the complete system before launch.
- Deploy the tether carefully and keep it clear of propellers, structures, and vessel traffic.
- Rinse, dry, inspect, and store the system according to the current CHASING manual after use.
Shipping & Support
Ships new through established CHASING supply channels. Package dimensions, handling time, and delivery timing vary by configuration. The Robot Direct provides U.S.-based pre-sale product-fit help and post-purchase support. Commercial operators remain responsible for training, site procedures, permits, and safe deployment.
