Description

The Sunseeker X5 Gen 2 is a wire-free, all-wheel-drive robotic lawn mower for lawns up to 0.5 acre. AONavi 2.0 combines network RTK (nRTK) with VSLAM 2.0 visual navigation for centimeter-level positioning without a boundary wire, and keeps working under tree cover where satellite signal is weak. Vision AI 2.0 pairs a binocular camera with an iToF camera to detect obstacles day and night.

Tri-wheel drive with front independent suspension and a steering rear wheel climbs slopes up to 60% (30°). The 8.7 in cutting deck uses 6 blades and, per Sunseeker, cuts as close as 1.2 in to edges.

Setup & App Control

No boundary wire is needed. Place the charging station, then map your lawn in the Sunseeker app with auto mapping or by driving the mower around the edge. From the app you can set zones, no-go areas and schedules, choose mowing angles and set the mowing plan. When the battery runs low the mower returns to charge, and it heads home when the rain sensor detects rain.
